Invitation to Attend The 6th Annual Patricia Charles Memorial Lecture

The University of the West Indies Open Campus Saint Lucia cordially invites you to attend The 6th Annual Patricia Charles Memorial Lecture at the Open Campus on  Thursday 16th April 2015, at 7p.m.

This year, the lecture will be delivered by UWI Professor Emerita, Hazel Simmons-Mc Donald . Her provocative lecture topic “Language , Identity and the Politics of Cultural Erosion” is an excellent opportunity for frank discussion of an issue that is particularly  pertinent within the context of our creole culture.

We do hope that you will be able to join us as we honour the memory of our beloved Mrs Patricia Charles, former Resident Tutor of the UWI Extra Mural Department/UWI School of Continuing Studies.
