Physical activity is very important for children’s growth and development. Apart from outdoor walks, engage you child in motion and movement a few times each week. This can be as simple as dancing or a brisk walk. Remember children model what they see so parents should try to participate as well. If you exercise regularly, allow your child to join in by doing simply variations.  Ball games , catching bubbles, hula hoops are all great phyical activities. Each activity can be used more than once each week. Just stay varied to make it fun and exciting.

Again, this is not suppose to be a battle, but fun activities that will not only help physical development but also the child’s and family emotional and psychological well being. Props can be used to engage in quiet activity or dramatic play. I have provided a few videos below based on the story. Use the songs  for motion and movement activities. More  videos can be found on YouTube.
